The project provides digitization and further work with the archives of several architectural institutes dedicated to the post-war development of Dnіpropetrovsk (now Dnipro) between the 1950s and the 1990s. This is invaluable material, consisting of original negatives, slides and drawings of the leading architects of the period, documenting the construction processes of both existing buildings and those that remained unrealized. And given that any bunker or museum storage can be destroyed during the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine, the digitized material is more important than its original medium, securing it for future generations. The result of the work will be a series of books, one of which will be titled An Alternative History of the Architecture of the City of Dnіpropetrovsk.
