“We Were Here”: The Internet Archive of Ukrainian Wartime Inclusion Discourse

“We Were Here”: The Internet Archive of Ukrainian Wartime Inclusion Discourse documents the diverse narratives emerging from Russia’s full-scale invasion, with a primary focus on the queer community. The project’s digital ethnography captures nearly 2,000 URLs, archiving web discourse related not only to LGBT+ inclusion but also to the experiences of women, the Roma community, and people with disabilities during the war. Using the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, it safeguards these narratives against link rot. The final dataset, enriched with comprehensive metadata, will be openly accessible on Zenodo, providing a durable, interdisciplinary resource for future research on the intersection of war, identity, and social inclusion.
