Russia's military invasion and occupation of regions of Ukraine has forced responsible businesses to relocate their enterprises to the relative safety of government-controlled territories. But an enterprise is a living organism: How can they save the team and production facilities? How can they resume activities and integrate employees into a new community? The stories of entrepreneurs who relocated their businesses, as told by the business-owners themselves, should be collected and studied. The purpose of my research is threefold: to contribute to the creation of a record of the Russian-Ukrainian War by collecting and systematizing materials documenting the experiences of relocation, resilience, and social responsibility of businesses during the war; to describe the strategies and behavioral patterns of entrepreneurs who relocate their business during the war at the institutional and sociocultural levels; and to summarize best practices in business relocation and its support by local governments in host regions.
