GRANTEE
The aim of this project is to write a book of reportage on the Ukrainian civil volunteer movement which has become crucial in the Russo-Ukrainian war. While it started in 2014, it has evolved rapidly during the full-scale phase of the war. I plan to cover projects from different regions of the country, involving both big groups and individual activists. The aim of the project is to explore the creativity and resilience of volunteers as well as to show how they have changed during various stages of the war.
