I aim to continue to document the challenges and painful issues that Ukrainian society and Ukrainian culture are currently dealing by addressing approaches that are concerned with discourses of bodies, images as a trade of matter, and technosocial renderings of corporeality. The war and the horrific humanitarian situation may provoke the aggravation of already existing problems related to the historical condition of being epistemologically colonized with modern cosmologies by Russian culture. I aim to observe them and to use my own agency to document these processes as a person who writes in the public eye.
I plan to create a series of essays in English, which will be published on a regular basis (about once a month), as well as translations in English of texts by other Ukrainian writers. In addition there will be documentation of a more intimate perspective: I am also interested in working on my own field notes, that is, attempts to briefly theorize the events around me. "Body," "earth" and "image" are objects that have not yet been properly understood, but the population, territory and information have become signs of empty chatter, which makes it impossible to understand the nature of the war and its consequences. That is why these phenomena and the issue of the impact of fake news, information struggle and infrastructures of political imaginations on the war in Ukraine will be the main subjects of the texts.
