Puzzle

The film 'Puzzle' reveals the ideological side of Russia's modern hybrid war against Ukraine.
As filmmaker Lana Shapoval re-watches her video archive from the first day of the invasion, she notices strange patterns that raise questions.
Together with colleagues: the British journalist Nick Holdsworth and the Canadian from the family of the leader of Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) Stephen Bandera, they begin their search for answers.
Why do many volunteer and charitable organizations that aid Ukrainian refugees abroad have ties to Russia, including funding from Russian sources? How do international businesses continue to work in Russia despite the sanctions? How did corruption at the state level turn European countries into energy hostages?
The heroes, Lana, Nick, and Stefan discover a connection between right-wing radical parties, which are winning elections in Europe, and Russian funding.
Lana, Nick, and Stefan are searching for answers to the question of how Russia's hybrid form of propaganda and terrorism has allowed aggression to extend beyond the borders of the former Soviet republics, and what impact it has on European countries, the United States, and Canada.
