The Music of Resistance project aims to create a collection of musical works by contemporary Ukrainian composers, written since the full-scale invasion, which reflect the experiences and emotions of the war. This collection will be preserved in electronic format and become part of an open archive, allowing a broad audience to explore musical reflections on war events.
The main goal of the project is to collect works of artists whose creative output has become less visible in the cultural space due to the war. Special attention will be given to composers from Eastern and Southern Ukraine—regions that have suffered the greatest losses and destruction. The project will also promote cultural dialogue and enhance the visibility of Ukrainian music on the international stage.
