The aim of the project is to inform the Ukrainian and worldwide community about the war crimes committed by the Russian military and to establish the human dimension of these crimes by exploring their impact on the lives of individual Ukrainians or society as a whole.
I initiated and organized the conducting of video interviews with victims and witnesses of crimes, preparing them for publication on the website of the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group https://khpg.org in the “Voices of War” section. The best interviews are translated into English and published on the English version of the site.
In the future, I would like to publish the book Voices of War in both Ukrainian and English, featuring the 100 best interviews from those collected. The QR-code will be printed next to the title of each interview so that the relevant video can be downloaded and watched. The videos will feature English subtitles.
