Port Frankivsk: Stories of War and Displacement is a joint oral history project of the Post Bellum online archive and Post Impreza media/archive focusing on cultural processes in wartime Ivano-Frankivsk, a vibrant cultural center, a rear area, and a new home for thousands of IDPs. The project aims to document the social and cultural change in a city conditioned by war and migration, collecting up to eight oral history testimonies of creative industries representatives, from artists and musicians to cultural managers and museum workers, both locals and IDPs. It will touch upon the peculiarities of dialogue between the two, speak of culture as a means of integration for the newcomers, analyze the issue of internal migration conditioned by the military conflict, and help track the impact of war on the local cultural scene overall. Video interviews will be used to expand the collection of both archives, while a part of them will also be processed into materials for publication in the media.
