Shia Islam is rapidly adapting to changing conditions and technological progress. Each Grand Ayatollah has a website with information about him, his fatwas and his activities. And these sites operate in the respective languages (depending on the sphere of influence of each of them) of the countries at which they are targeted. This study will be devoted to the establishment of such and other manifestations of the adaptation of Shia Islam and its institutions to virtualization and new media on the territory of the post-Soviet countries.
