Aleksander Kaczorowski

Isaac Babel (1894-1940), one of the greatest Russian writers of the 20^th century, is also one of the most mysterious figures of the era. The purpose of Kaczorowski’s project is to write a biography of Babel that shows his life and art within the context of a broad and detailed background of the era, allowing us to understand his decisions and also to interpret his work in a new and original way.
