This project puts forward an attempt to explore, with the tools of literary translation, an outstanding work which brings together seminal thinkers and key concepts in European culture around the perennial and nowadays more-than-ever relevant topic of waiting. Which, in turn, is nothing but a phenomenology of time, built around the core idea that the time spent waiting is not suspended, but active and essential in itself.
