The research project focuses on the gendered history of labour, industrialization and deindustrialization in the post-Yugoslav region. On the basis of archival sources and oral history interviews with former and current textile workers, the project explores the under-researched theme of women’s working lives in the garment industry during socialism and post-socialism.
