David Shikiar spent the second half of 1999 at the IWM, working on a study of Aristotle's metaphysics with a view towards working out the structure of his theory.
Aristotle’s “rigorous” approach towards answering the question “what is being?” will be taken as a model for the subsequent understanding of philosophical conceptual analysis, the fundamental assumption of which is that to be is to be identifiable and analyzable, i.e., intelligible.
