The aim of my research is to ascertain how Russian bloggers evaluate the process of secularization in post-Soviet Russian society. Are their judgments based on secular or on religious ideals? The subject of my research are posts on the Russian LiveJournal-site published between February and May 2012 which discuss the activity of Patriarch Kirill, the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in society, and Pussy Riot’s performance in the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in February 2012.
