The planned monograph looks at early Cold War Prague as a center of the internationalist networks. It focuses on the journeys of African American poets and their works to Czechoslovakia. The aim of the research project at the Institute for Human Sciences is to consider a broader framework of the journeys of African American intellectuals and artists to other Soviet-aligned countries and to the Soviet Union.
