Hans-Georg Betz was working on the political implications of globalization and wrote an essay on the radical Right in Western Europe. Publications include: Postmodern Politics in Germany: The Politics of Resentment, New York 1991; Radical RightWing Populism in Western Europe, Macmillan 1994. He is editor of New Politics of the Right: Neo-Populist Parties and Movements in Established Democracies, New York 1998.
