Laura Stefanut

I first started meeting garment workers producing for famous Western brands in Eastern Europe in 2015. Since then, I have written several stories for international media outlets and co-authored an Arte documentary about the injustices in the clothing system: made in the EU does not mean fair trade. In 2018, I noticed most of the workers I interview were leaving the country. I want to tell their story, as well as start writing a book based on my four years of research.
