Although climate awareness is rising all over Europe, positions of the public towards possible solutions differ. It is especially obvious in the post-communist countries, which need to undergo a second transformation just a few decades after their transition from state-socialist dictatorships to liberal democracies. In a series of essays, Martin Vrba will argue that the widespread skepticism toward green transformation in these countries has its roots largely in the 1990s transition as an example of unjust transformation.
