The division of Europe during the Cold War period led to significant gaps in the availability and reception of seminal texts in the humanities and social sciences. In 1987, the Paul Celan Fellowships for Translators were established to help overcome these gaps and thus to promote the exchange of ideas and scholarly discussion between the East and the West, and within Central and Eastern Europe. In the frame of his fellowship, Milan Zitny will translate Soren Kierkegaard’s Enten - Eller into Slovakian.
