This project studies survival strategies during the events of the Holodomor of 1932—1933. The geographical framework of the project is the south of Ukraine. The main method of research is source analysis of documents containing information about survival strategies (archival documents, oral historical sources, etc.). Comparative analysis will also be used to look at survival strategies and practices in different regions of Ukraine.

The expected result is the deepening of our knowledge of everyday life in extreme situations, in particular in the time of the Holodomor of 1932—1933 in Ukraine.
