The period of the 1920s is characterized by the flourishing of Ukrainian music, which organically entered the European cultural space of modernism. The goal of this project is to examine the stylistic specificity of the work of Ukrainian composers of the 1920s in the context of European modernism, considering the differences and similarities of aesthetic principles, the preference of certain genres, the diversity of stylistic guidelines, the peculiarities of foreign influences and typologically common features of Ukrainian and European modernism.
