Pavlo Kutuev

Pavlo Kutuev specializes in Social Theory, Political Sociology and Comparative Politics. At the IWM he worked on his research project, “Political Culture of Administrative Elites in Societal Transformation”. It aimed to compare the development of rational-legal state institutions in the West with the emergent political and administrative structures of the post-Leninist Ukraine. Publications include: “Rational Capitalism in Ukraine: Between Myth and Reality”, in Sociology 2/ 1999; “Elective Affinity in Max Weber’s Sociology”, in Sociology 3/1999.
