Petra Jedlickova

Petra Jedlickova spent 6 months at the IWM as a Volkswagen Junior Visiting Fellow. She specializes in information science, feminism and media theory. She continued her work on the media and information industry as powerful elements in the transformation process. Her article “Women Without Head in the World of Communication?” was published in Cosmopolitan, Prague, no.3/1999. Several articles were published in Ikaros, an electronic magazine on the information society: “Electronic Publishing. Periodicals on the Internet”; “eCity: When Technocracy Beats Cyber(demo)cracy”; “Virtual War: The Role of the Medialized Conflict in the Information Society”; “Digital Rape”; and “Sexual Harrassment in Cyberspace”.
