Reinhard Engel, an Austrian freelance writer of economics whose articles have appeared in publications such as The
Financial Times and Newsweek. His project entitled “The Economic Chances of the Latecomers Among the CEECs on the Balkans” will focus on Bulgaria, Croatia, Yugoslavia, and Romania. (July – September 2001)
