Rodion Garshin

In this project, Rodion Garshin explores the mental symbolism in the creative work of Dostoevsky, comparing it to the social symbolism of Marx in the meta-framework of Merab Mamardashvili and Alexander Piatigorsky's theory of consciousness. Garshin intends to show that both the literary symbolism of mental disease and the social symbolism of progress are ideological pseudo-symbolizations of the possibility of human inclusion in conscious life.
