This project is devoted to the historical and political analysis of the concept of the “Russian world” (Russkiy mir) within historical narratives and discourses used by Russia. The aim of this project is to study the evolution of Russian ideology from “Russian world” to “Ruscism” in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. My hypothesis is as follows: The war in Ukraine has forced the Russian leadership to radicalize its own ideological background.
