Susanna Roth

In 1988/89 three authors werde translated who can be counted as Czech expressionists and are still little known in the German-speaking world: Susanna Roth and Peter Sacher translated into German a selection from the philosophical and literary writings of the Czech author Ladislav Klíma (Postmortalien, to appear in 1990with Edition Sirene, Berlin); Susanna Roth has also translated texts by Jakub Deml (Danse macabre) and short stories by Richard Weiner into German; in addition, she has translated a study by the Czech art and literary historian Jindrich Chalupecky : Jakub Deml. Susanna Roth arbeitete als Visiting Fellow des IWM über das Werk der tschechischen Dichterin Bozena Nemcová. Darüberhinaus beteiligt sie sich an der Übersetzung und Redaktion der Texte für den vierten und fünften Band der am IWM herausgegebenen Patocka-Ausgabe.
