In my project, I focus on a defense of Hegel’s criticism of Spinoza against many respected interpreters in order to show the applicability of Hegel’s criticism to Marx’s philosophy and its ‘external thinking’. I consider the emancipation from the spectra of Marx to be an understandable task for our post-communist era. However, as the term ‘spectra’ indicates, this task remains unfinished, because, as my argument traces, there is no genuine refutation of Marx without Hegel.
