This research project is dedicated to studying the phenomenon of coalition presidentialism in the Ukrainian context. The aim of this project is to investigate the problem of coalition building in a system with an existing patron-client structure. The study also examines the special features of coalition formation in societies undergoing peace-building, because this dimension has become very important in the context of the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
