The project concerns Polish collective memory or, precisely, the way the future - both the one currently anticipated and that imagined in the past - influences how particular frameworks and politics of memory are construed. The project is based on the conviction that it is insufficient to analyse contemporary collective memory, as well as politics of memory, without accounting for beliefs relating to the future, and it hopes to fill this gap in research.
