The book entitled L’ Anti-Oedipe: Capitalisme et schizophrénie (first published in Paris in 1972) is one of the key texts of 20th century European philosophy. Its authors were two French philosophers, Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. Anti-Oedipus can be characterised as a unique combination of theoretical and poetic ways of writing that has affected various discursive practices, philosophical as well as sociological, anthropological, literary and many others.
