Artem Chapeye

In his posthumously published work Humanism and Democratic Criticism, the famous American-Palestinian literary theorist, who has been a political activist throughout his life, proposes a return to an extensive education in humanities in order to return to humanism, understood both as a rejection of Euro- and any other- centrism, as well as a socially engaged position.
