Deadline for applications: 31 March 2025
The Ukraine in European Dialogue program is pleased to open a call for applications for publication allowances. The allowance is designed to support scholars in Ukrainian Studies who have secured a contract or written commitment with peer-reviewed academic presses and require additional funding for the publication process. With the publication allowance, scholars at the stage of finalizing their manuscript can cover the costs of editing, proofreading, translation, map-making, indexing, securing rights and permissions, and illustrating.
We will award two publication allowances of 1,000 EUR each to scholars in Ukrainian Studies. The publication may include revised dissertations, translations, anthologies, edited volumes, or scholarly monographs.
The deadline for application is 31 March 2025.
Applicants should submit the following materials:
- a book proposal
- a CV
- a budget justification
- a letter from a publisher confirming their commitment to the project
