Christina Plank

In my research, I analyse how the production of agrofuels feedstock as well as fuel is enforced or hindered in Ukraine. I concentrate on the role of the Ukrainian state, with a focus on the oligarchic structures, and its relations the country has with the European Union and its member states. I examine land, agriculture and energy policies as well as the socio-ecological consequences related to agrofuels.
