In this cooperation between the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and the Institute for Human Sciences, several Visiting Fellowships are offered each year at the IWM in Vienna.
The award of a stipend within the framework of the ÖAW funding programs for doctoral students (DOC, DOC-team) or scientists in the early postdoc phase (APART) is a prerequisite.
The final selection of candidates for the Visiting Fellowship is the responsibility of the IWM Collegium.
During the six-month term, fellows conduct their research projects in the humanities, social sciences and cultural studies. The fellowship includes office space at the IWM and integration into the international community of scholars.
