The Moses Mendelssohn Jubilees were celebrated in Europe, the US, Palestine, and Israel between 1829 and 1986. They are a striking example of a transnational cultural process and allow pursuing a new approach to historiography because these Jubilees draw attention to cultural transfers that started in Germany and influenced Jews and their non-Jewish environment in Europe, America, and the Middle East. My comparative study analyzes them from an international perspective and from the perspective of histoire croisée.
