Marcin Gaczkowski

The aim of the project is to show the entire complexity and paradoxicality of Hryhoriy Skovoroda as a cultural and linguistic phenomenon. Marcin Gaczkowski will carefully demonstrate Skovoroda’s thought in the context of the European philosophy of his time and show how he achieved an original synthesis of various intellectual traditions coming from the Byzantine “East” and the Latin “West.”
