There is a broad agreement among analysts that there is no foreseeable end to the militant hostilities in Israel/Palestine. This book is an investigation into the conditions which have frustrated a resolution of the enmities between the two nations. It argues that we must account for the role of materiality, of space and place, as co-constitutional factors in determining political trajectories. By focusing on the shaping of landscapes, it shows how space has been weaponized to frustrate change.
