Building on the IWM's longstanding Ukraine in European Dialogue program, the IWM has two new initiatives to support Ukrainian scholars, public intellectuals, journalists and artists.
Non-Residential Solidarity Fellowships from the IWM and HURI
Recognizing the need for urgent support of Ukraine’s intellectual community in the face of Russia’s war of aggression, the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM, Vienna) and the Ukrainian Research Institute at Harvard University (HURI) are partnering to offer non-residential fellowships for Ukrainian scholars, cultural figures, and public intellectuals.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOT CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED.
If you applied prior to the March 31st deadline, you will be notified by the end of April 2022 about the status of your application.

Documenting Ukraine Grants
Courageous and vital work is being done by those who record the facts of Russia’s war against Ukraine, who capture the human experience of that war, and who make it accessible and comprehensible to the broader world.
