Robert Bosch Fellowships enabled junior and senior scholars to spend six months at the IWM to pursue their research project while working in residence at the institute.
The IWM accepted applications from countries of ex-communist South-Eastern Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia. Applications were accepted from researchers who were either residents of said countries, affiliated to a university or research institution in the region, or (independent of the applicant’s country of origin) who pursue research on South-Eastern Europe.
