Bardzo jestem stremowany, bo jestem robotnikiem, a mówię do elit intelektualnych. Dlatego mi wybaczcie, będę mówił sękato. Polska rewolucja, która prowadzi w krajach komunistycznych, znalazła się w punkcie zwrotnym i decydującym. Wprawdzie słyszałem w tym gronie, że przypisuje mi się charyzmatyczne przywództwo. No, tylko się cieszyć. Ale chciałbym, żeby te charyzmatyczne przywództwo było przypisane za pracę, za szukanie rozwiązań, a nie ambicjonalnie, a bardzo często to słyszę. Chciałem powiedzieć, że ja to rozumiem. Ja rozumiem intelektualistów, was ludzi o świetnym przygotowaniu, i to dobrze, że szukacie rozwiązań, ale ja jednocześnie jestem z dołów społecznych, i te doły społeczne robią czasami rewolucje. Parę razy już to zrobiły, i teraz w Polsce też robiły rewolucję.
I am very nervous, because I am a worker, and I am speaking to intellectual elites. Thus forgive me, I will speak knottily. The Polish revolution, which is happening in Communist countries, has found itself at a decisive turning point. To be sure, I heard here that charismatic leadership is being attributed to me. Well, I’m very pleased to hear it. But I would wish that this charismatic leadership would be attributed to the work, to looking for solutions, rather than to ambition, and I hear that very often. I would like to say that I understand that. I understand intellectuals, you people of excellent grooming, and it is good that you look for solutions, but I am from the lower classes, and from time to time these lower classes lead a revolution. They have done so several times before, and now they are waging a revolution in Poland.
